Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski.
Spurs are one of several teams to have approached Arsenal with an enquiry about the availability of Podolski.
German sides Schalke and Wolfsburg and Galatasaray of Turkey are also understood to have made an approach for the player.
Spurs have already secured the signing of Etienne Capoue, Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli and Paulinho this summer.
The north London side are also close to agreeing a £30 million deal with Anzhi Makhachkala for attacking midfielder Willian, whilst a bid for Roma forward Erik Lamela is understood to be close.
Schalke appear the more likely destination for Podolksi however.
The Bundesliga outfit have suffered injuries to their first-choice forward pair Jefferson Farfan and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and are reported to have identified Podolksi as the ideal backup.
