Atletico Madrid have reportedly launched a £17.5 million bid for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla.

Atletico have money to spend after selling Radamel Falcao to Monaco for £51m and reckon £17.5m will be enough to tempt boss Arsene Wenger into selling his Spanish star.
Atletico wanted to sign Cazorla from Malaga last summer, but were not in a position to match the £16.5m Arsenal forked out.
They are now hopeful money will talk, but the Gunners would be loath to sell one of their top stars.
Cazorla scored 12 goals and assisted 16 last season.
