Everton are set to produce a major transfer coup as they are reportedly set to sign Barcelona hotshot Gerard Deulfoeu on a season-long loan.
After impressing while playing for Barcelona B in Segunda, the highly rated attacker is looking to leave Camp Nou in order to gain much needed first team experience.
Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Real Betis have all shown interest in Deulofeu, but it looks as though he will be joining Everton instead.
The arrival of Spanish coach Roberto Martinez to Goodison Park seems to have persuaded the talented footballer to opt for the Toffees.
The player’s representative Gines Carvajal is currently in Liverpool, where he is expected to finalize the deal.
Should the transfer go through, Everton will temporarily acquire the services of one of world’s hottest prospects and the player who has netted no less than 18 times in 33 league matches last term.
