Stamford Bridge owner keen on Spanish Under 21 international trio.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has apparently been a very busy man over the past 24 hours. The Russian billionaire flew out to Israel on an entirely non-football related matter but still managed to find time to develop his interest in a trio of Spanish talents according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Abramovich was in attendance at the European Under 21 Championship Final and was paying especially close attention to three players he hopes to lure to West London this summer, those players in question being Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who finished as the competition’s top scorer, Malaga youngster Isco and Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
Roman Abramovich is known to be looking to continue his youthful transfer policy, clearly having been encouraged by the signings of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Cesar Azpilicueta last summer, and has already sewn up the deal to bring in Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen and now has his sights firmly set on this young La Liga based trio, who are clearly players returning Blues boss Jose Mourinho knows all too well.
